FAQ

What is 7090 / 6090 / 5090?

The four-digit code on cellulose pads is flute height plus the two crossing flute angles. The first two digits are height: 50 = 5 mm, 60 = 6 mm, 70 = 7 mm. The last two digits are the angle sum: 90 (commonly 45°/45° or 60°/30°) or 60 (commonly 45°/15°, as in 7060). Name the code on the inquiry. Plastic honeycomb pads do not use these paper codes.

Poultry and swine houses?

Yes. Quote to opening, climate, and water quality.

Do you publish saturation tables?

Catalogue geometry is on this page. Ratings for your face velocity are on the written quotation.

What are plastic pads used for?

Mainly odor-control / exhaust-air wash walls. Use cellulose pads for the cooling inlet. Plastic is for that odor duty, or where paper would not survive the water.

Can plastic pads cool like paper pads?

No. Specify cellulose for evaporative cooling. Plastic pads are not the main cooling pad on this site.
